How to add buildings

Scoop allows you to customize your daily work location by adding buildings for you and your co-workers. You can do this by following the instructions below.

Basic users

You’ll be able to add a new building for your team by doing the following in any public Slack channel:

  1. Use the /scoop-today command in any public Slack channel.

  2. Click Set your work location.

  3. At the bottom of the pop-up, you’ll see the option to Add building.

  4. Enter the name of the building* and click Save.

  5. You will now see the newly added building as an option when setting your work location to Office.

*Keep in mind that this name will be visible to the rest of your team on Scoop, so make sure to use a name that will be easily recognizable.

Enterprise users

If you’re part of an Enterprise plan, buildings will need to be added by your Scoop administrator via the admin dashboard.
