Manage your flexible workday, from your co-workers’ office plans to your upcoming meetings, right in the palm of your hands with Scoop for iOS and Android
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the Scoop mobile app including:

Now Tab
The Now tab is your go-to for managing your current workday. From here, you can easily view your calendar events, prep for upcoming meetings, check your co-workers' work locations, or update your own—all from one convenient place.
Set or update your work location
To set or update your work location for the current day from the Now tab:
Tap Update
Choose your work location and building (if applicable)
Tap Save work location
Calendar & Favorites
At the top of the Now tab, summary cards provide insights into the number of co-workers heading to your primary office that day, as well as details about other office locations. Plus, you'll find out which of your Favorite co-workers are also planning to join you in the office.
Tap on each summary card to view the entire list or to Filter by group (Favorites, Teammates, or building.)
Running Late
Running late for your upcoming meeting? No worries, we’ve all been there. With Scoop you can send a group message in Slack to let everyone know how late you’ll be.
Simply tap into the dropdown menu at the bottom of the meeting card to select one of our pre-populated messages then select Send.
Upcoming Calendar Events
Quickly view and prep for upcoming meetings while reviewing co-worker plans side-by-side in the Calendar section of the Now tab.
Simply tap on any event with two or more attendees to access details such as guests' planned work locations, the meeting agenda or related prep documents, or to open the meeting channel in Slack if available.
Upcoming Tab
Scoop’s Upcoming tab serves as your weekly planner. Set your work location in bulk, review upcoming work locations for you and your co-workers, and prep for upcoming meetings, without jumping between apps, tabs, or calendars.
Set or update your work location
To set your work location for any day in the next 2 weeks, select any date at the top of the Upcoming tab then tap Update and choose your work location. If you’d like to set your work location in bulk:
Tap Set work location for multiple days
Then tap each day that you’d like to set a work location for
Next, simply choose your work location for the selected days and tap Save work location
💡Tip: Have a set routine for in-office days? Use Scoop’s weekly work routines to update your daily work location automatically.
Week Schedule
The Week Schedule section of the Upcoming tab helps you get ready for your week by giving you a look at who’s coming in.
On each day card, you can:
Quickly update your work location
Check who’s planning to be in office
Review your scheduled meetings for the day along with their timings
💡Tip: Use the filter tabs near the top of the Week Schedule view to see work locations for All, Favorites, and your Team.
For a deeper dive or to effortlessly access prep materials and navigate to your meeting channel with just a tap, simply select View Day at the bottom of any day card and then select any event on your calendar.
💡Tip: If your event includes a Zoom meeting link, you can open this directly from the Scoop app.
Co-workers Tab
Always know where your Favorites and Teammates plan to be with the Co-workers tab.
Favorite co-workers
Co-workers can be added as Favorites by tapping View All > Add. You can search them by name, or choose from the list of co-workers.
Your team
Review your Team’s week plan by tapping “View All”. You can then scroll through the upcoming week's schedule to see where your manager and teammates plan to be working each day.
✍️ Note: Your team is updated by your manager (for Basic plan users) or your Scoop admin (for Enterprise plan users).
Account Tab
The Account tab is your go-to for all account settings and preferences.
Hybrid work preferences
We know most employees have a set routine for when they plan to head into the office or even a primary office location. You’ll be able to set your primary building and weekly work routine by going to the Hybrid work preferences section of the Account tab.
If you’re a permanently remote employee who does not need to set an Office work location, you’ll be able to indicate this from the Hybrid work preferences as well.
Notifications
You can control the frequency of Scoop notifications by adjusting your settings.
From the Account tab, tap Settings
Tap Notifications
Adjust the frequency of your notifications by using the toggle buttons found on the notifications screen
✍️Note: If a slider bar for a notification is grayed out, this indicates that the notification is disabled.
Live Activities and Meeting Activities
Scoop's Live Activities on iOS and Meeting Activities on Android automatically keep you well-prepared and informed about your upcoming and ongoing meetings, helping you stay up-to-date and fully engaged. These notifications include:
Morning Prep Notifications
Sent silently at 7 AM each workday and inform you of:
The number of meetings scheduled for the day
The name, time, and location of your first meeting
You can expand the notification to get a more detailed view which includes:
The total number of meetings you have that day
Your previously set work location
The number of co-workers who will be joining you in the office
Upcoming Meeting Notifications
Sent 15 minutes before the start of your meeting and inform you of:
The meeting name
A countdown to the meeting
The option to message meeting guests
Expanding the notification will include more details such as:
The meeting location
Meeting guest details
The option to send a Running Late message
In-Progress Meeting Notifications
Sent at the start of your meeting and evolve as the meeting progresses. At the start of your meeting and for the first 10 minutes, this notification will display:
The meeting name
A real-time progress bar
The option to message meeting guests
Expanding the notification will show you additional information:
The meeting location
Guest details
The option to send a Running Late message
10 Minutes after the start of the meeting, the notification will show you:
The meeting name
A real-time progress bar.
The expanded notification will include:
The meeting location
Guest details
The name and time of your next meeting
iOS users also receive:
First Meeting Notifications with details about the name, time, and location of your first meeting.
Safety Net Notification (5 minutes before your meeting) providing the meeting name, time, location, and quick links to open the Scoop app or join the call.
Meetings Complete Notifications that allow you to view tomorrow's schedule by opening Scoop.
Live Activity and Meeting Activity notifications are exclusive to meetings; personal events will not trigger notifications. Live Activity notifications are not sent on weekends or during out-of-office (OOO) events on your calendar.
